The Setting

Our client is a family owned and operated service committed to and supports a strong sense of community and family environment; valuing the contribution of educators across all aspects of the service. Recently receiving exceeding rating in Quality areas this is a wonderful culture, team and organisation to be part of.

The centre is based in the Hills District and has specially designed indoor and outdoor spaces allowing children to explore, learn and develop across the 5 large play spaces. The centre is a 66 placed centre operating from 7am-6pm. Staff parking is provided and access to public transport is easily accessible.

The Role

The role is for an Early Childhood Teacher or Educator who has completed 50% or more of their degree in Early Education and is being offered as either a part-time or full-time position.

You will be responsible for developing programs which reflect the approved learning framework and working within the requirements of the National Quality Standard. You will also be responsible for developing positive relationships with your team and children to facilitate learning outcomes.

The Ideal Applicant

You must have:

  • A bachelor of teaching/education recognised in Australia or able to prove you have completed 50% or more of your degree in Early Education.
  • Current first aid certificate (desirable)
  • Enthusiasm & commitment to the early childhood sector
  • A passion for working with communities to ensure optimum outcomes for families and children
  • Knowledge of the health and safety of children
  • Effective communication skills and successful experience leading teams
  • Sound knowledge and implementation experience with EYLF
