Physiotherapist - Community Care

An opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist to join a well established Community Care NFP organisation based in the heart of Brunswick, working with a client base across the north-western suburbs. You will be working with clients over the age of 65, providing direct and comprehensive high quality evidence based services. This position interacts closely with other service providers, both internally and externally, in a multi-disciplinary setting, it involves planning and conducting centre based pain management therapy, exercise classes and establishing specialist wellnes groups for your clients.

The clinical aspect of this role would be providing individual assessments and treatment for clients with musculoskeletal, orthopaedic and neurological conditions. There would be a focus on health education and exercise programs, both individual and group based.

You would be working on a multi disciplinary health team, therefore you will need to have at least 1-2 years experience post grad, preferably working in the community sector. This position is part time, starting ASAP. To apply for this role you will need:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Physiotherapy
  • Current APHRA registration (unable to accept interim registration)
  • Minimum 12 months experience working as a Physiotherapist post grad, particularly working with older clients
  • Ability to work autonomously
