McArthur are currently seeking applications from experienced Project Coordinators to work with our client on a 3 month contract.
This role will be available for an immediate start.
As part of this role, your duties and responsibilities will include the following:
Manage, and be accountable for, Public Housing Renewal Taskforce capital works projects from conception through to completion, incorporating all aspects of project management.
Ensure that design documents conform to the Housing ACT Project Design Brief, assist with the preparation of Development Applications (DA's) and actively monitor the progress of the Development Application/Building Application process.
Monitor construction progress against program targets.
Keep accurate and up to date records of correspondence, contracts, design documents, invoices, fee proposals and tender documentation.
Lead a multi-disciplinary team of stakeholders including consultants and contractors to effectively and efficiently deliver the key objectives of the Taskforce.
Liaise with agencies including Environment, Planning and Sustainable Development Directorate, Environment Protection Authority, Housing ACT, and the Suburban Land Agency, to support progression of the capital works program.
Ensure that construction contracts, service agreements with architects, builders and contractors are managed under best practice principles, and ensure the timely delivery of projects.
Prepare complex and/or sensitive correspondence, project briefs, procurement plans, programs, budgets, together with minutes, briefs, submissions and reports.
