We are looking for a chief executive who can provide leadership, guidance and inspiration to help Council achieve its long-term vision and deliver Council's ambitious growth and sustainability objectives for the Region.
You are a strategic, lateral thinker who can make a positive impact from day one providing guidance to your team to build a collaborative, outcome-focused culture. You will have an in-depth working knowledge of local government legislation, particularly financial governance, integrated planning and reporting, and an impressive track record of delivering community-based outcomes. The ability to effectively manage complex stakeholder environments and diverse objectives is essential, and your sharp communication skills will allow you to confidently advocate for the organisation's interests.
You will be politically astute and have an exceptional track record of achievement at senior executive level as a transformational leader, in a business or public sector environment. We are looking for an individual who will be a visible presence in the community and suitably represent the interests of Council.
