Our client, a well-respected ASX listed construction company, based on Brisbane's Southside, is currently seeking the assistance of an experienced Recruitment Officer who has a solid background in, and understanding of, recruitment of white collar engineering and construction roles.

The position will be commencing ASAP and be for an initial period of 3 months with the possibility of turning into an on-going role. Dealing with remote positions, you're role will involve:

  • Creating and posting job advertisements
  • Phone screening and shortlisting
  • Consultation with Hiring Managers and coordination of candidate interviews
  • Reference checking and coordination of pre-employment medicals

To be successful in the position you will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Professional communication skills and ability to establish rapport and productive working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Strong experience in using LinkedIn Recruiter including ability to creat projects and talent pools
  • Consultative approach
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines
  • Strong track record operating in either an Agency or Internal environment
  • Ability to adapt to new systems quickly and work autonomously and with initiative
