Following the recent appointment of a new Chief Executive and organisational review, Horsham Rural City Council now have a number of key leadership vacancies open for capable people looking to join our team. These roles will help to shape the future strategic direction of Council while allowing the successful candidates to maintain hands on involvement in the delivery of key services.
The position of Co-ordinator Strategic Planning leads a small team in the delivery of complex strategic planning projects including local area plans, master plans and structure plans, that guide the future development of Horsham. You will manage strategic land use planning activities and policy development, to ensure compliance and delivery within budget, legislative and other requirements.
The successful candidate will be qualified in urban or regional planning and be ready to take ownership of the planning function while working broadly across the organisation.
