About the organisation

Based in Frankston, with a client base in the southern suburbs, we offer a range of centre based social support activities and day respite programs for people experiencing symptoms of dementia, from Frankston and surrounding areas. Dementia specific cottage respite services are also delivered within a six bed purpose built, homelike and enabling environment.


The Program Manager is responsible for invigorating and developing the social support offerings within the social support program, to meet the changed and changing needs and preferences of the aged community. Working closely with the Program Coordinator and service delivery teams, you will provide leadership and service development, ensuring evidence based practice which demonstrates measurable client outcomes and the potential for systemic change. Based on budgetary expectations and business planning, you will actively grow the service delivery volume, revenue and range of programs on offer.

Skills and experience

  • Tertiary Qualifications in the Social Work, Allied Health or Community Development, with demonstrated experience in Program Management of community service programs
  • Well-developed stakeholder relationship skills, takes ownership and responsibility for decisions. Proven interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships and liaise across all levels both internally, externally and with people from diverse backgrounds

  • Sound financial management experience with the ability to analyse and manage budgets

  • Drivers licence
