Principal Engineer (Design)

Approximately 2.5hrs from Brisbane, South Burnett is home to nearly 30,000 residents and built around a hub of five key communities. Providing frontline leadership and direction to a small but effective design team, you will manage all aspects of infrastructure planning projects in surveying, design, drafting and contract management. You will have demonstrated knowledge of legislation and recognized engineering publications, technical guidelines, standards and specifications pertaining to civil engineering and asset management.

Your experience will include preparing civil engineering designs, including road construction, drainage and water mains using industry guidelines. A qualified Civil Engineer, with RPEQ qualifications or eligibility you will have good technical skills in design coupled with significant experience engaging with internal and external stakeholders, ideally with a Local Government focus.
