Principal Project Manager

Approximately 2.5hrs from Brisbane, South Burnett is home to nearly 30,000 residents and built around a hub of five key communities. The region combines the natural beauty of Regional Queensland with vibrant and growth focused business and industry, including traditional and emerging agriculture, broad-ranging tourism and of course close proximity to all the world-class natural attractions of Wide Bay Burnett.

With the key objective of managing and delivering civil works projects within construction and maintenance of public assets, you will bring your extensive experience in the development of civil works programs and managing project milestones. You will work collaboratively across Council to achieve desired outcomes pre and post construction so highly developed stakeholder engagement skills are essential to this role.

Ideally you will have experience working in a Local Government environment however related experience managing projects in residential/commercial infrastructure would be well regarded. Additionally, your experience will include roads, drainage and footpaths and a working knowledge of Queensland DTMR specifications. This will be complemented by tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or Project Management, and ideally a current RPEQ or eligibility or equivalent accreditation.
