We are currently seeking candidates with experience to join as a Clinical Project Officer with a federal client in Canberra.

The Clinical Project Officer will support the Section in specific project deliverables, project scheduling, risks, issues and benefits tracking as well as project reporting to support service implementation and associated change processes.

Your typical duties and responsibilities include:

  • Provides input to transformation and change and will deliver specific project requirements as requested by the Program Management Office using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Acts as a point of coordination for project management activities to enable achievement of specified project delivery to ensure project activities are on track and anticipates associated requirements to achieve branch and transformation deliverables.
  • Coordinates stakeholder involvement in project delivery activities maintaining productive partnership and working relationships.
  • Coordinates project management activities as required by appropriate project methodologies (Agile and Waterfall).
  • Take responsibility for delivering on intended project outcomes.
  • Maintains transparency, shares appropriate information and reinforces key messages with all stakeholders during times of change.

Mandatory role Requirements:

Experience in project delivery, project management office support and training support in a complex fast-moving environment

Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver project documentation across technology, people, clinical and process transformation projects.

Proven ability to work effectively within an outcome-focused and team-oriented environment.

Excellent communication skills, including the ability to engage with senior management and staff of all levels.

Experience working in an Agile project environment.

Experience facilitating co-design processes.
