The Fleurieu Regional Aquatic Centre (FRAC) is a multi-use aquatic facility located at Hayborough with a vision of providing a range of aquatic opportunities to service local community members. The FRAC is a collaborative venture between the City of Victor Harbor and Alexandrina Council which is jointly owned and managed by the Fleurieu Regional Aquatic Centre Authority (the Authority).

The Authority is governed by a board of management that is responsible for ensuring the Authority acts in accordance with its Charter and all other relevant legislation. The Board consists of five members (one elected member from each constituent council and three independent members).

We are looking for a talented and multi-skilled leader for this diverse and challenging role. Reporting to the Board, your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Provision of leadership, strategic direction and overall management of the Authority's activities;
  • Developing key stakeholder relationships to drive marketing and promotional activities to ensure the long term success and sustainability of the Authority;
  • Provision of meaningful and detailed reports on marketing, communications, financial, and operational issues for the Board;
  • Effectively manage and implement positive change to drive continuous improvement initiatives;

To be successful in this role you will have demonstrable experience in a broad general management role with relevant tertiary qualifications. You will have a strong understanding of the challenges facing a multi-use community facility and solid financial and commercial acumen.
